Southfield, Michigan: Join us for the 25th Anniversary celebration of NAWBO’s Annual Top 10 Michigan Business Women Awards and Silent Auction on March 28, 2019. Registration opens at 5:00 p.m. The VIP Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and the awards program at 6:30 P.M. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Excel, our 501(c)3 arm which provides on-going education, support and mentoring programs for girls as they start or grow successful business.
NAWBO-GDC values its long- term relationship with all of its partners who support various initiatives. We are excited to introduce this year’s remarkable Michigan women who are making a difference in their companies, in Michigan and in the local economy.

The following awards will be presented to honorees during this event:
EMERGING BUSINESS - An emerging and promising woman business owner who has owned her business for 5 years or less. Must be age 40 or older.
MILLENNIAL ENTREPRENUER AWARD - A woman age 21 - 39 who has owned her business for at least 2 years and has demonstrated consistent growth each year she has been in business.
GIVING SPIRIT AWARD – A woman business owner who selflessly provides her time, talent and support to better the community through volunteerism and leadership.
WARRIOR AWARD – A woman business owner who has overcome personal and professional obstacles, has persevered through those obstacles and currently owns a successful business.
INNOVATION AWARD – A woman business owner who has demonstrated commitment to developing game changing technology tools, products or services.
PINNACLE AWARD – A woman business owner who has owned one or more businesses for 25 years or more.
DIVERSITY CHAMPION CORPORATE AWARD – A woman, organization or business that has promoted and facilitated diversity.
DIVERSITY CHAMPION BUSINESS OWNER AWARD – A woman owned diverse business (MBE, WBE, Veteran or LGBT) that demonstrates a commitment to diversity as reflected in the company’s hiring and
recruitment practices and/or within their current supply chain that includes other diverse suppliers.
WORDS OF WISDOM AWARD – A woman who has been instrumental in educating, mentoring and inspiring professional women toward achieving their
Dreams of entrepreneurship.
NAWBO/EXCEL YOUNG ENTREPRENUER AWARD – Young girl under age 21
who owns her own business.
