Submit your nominations the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce premier business awards, “Excellence in Southfield.” We are accepting nominations for businesses and individuals that have demonstrated the following contributions within the Southfield Area. Winners will be selected and deemed final by the Chamber’s Awards Selection Committee and all nominees will be invited to the awards reception and the winner announced on stage!

• Small Business of the Year 
  Candidates for this award have consistently demonstrated some or all the following: growth in employees, revenues, superior performance in the marketplace, innovative products, unique processes or philanthropic actions. Southfield/Lathrup Village companies with less than 50 employees are eligible to receive this award.
  
  
• Top Project of the Year 
  Candidates for this award have completed a successful real estate project, development or redevelopment in the City of Southfield/Lathrup Village.
  
  
• Young Professional of the Year 
  Candidates for this award have consistently demonstrated some or all the following: contributions to Southfield/Lathrup Village through volunteerism and community activities, growth through professional development activities and has achieved notable professional accomplishments. Young professionals under the age of 40 are eligible to receive this award.
  
  
• Rising Star 
  Candidates for this award have consistently demonstrated some or all the following: "Up and Coming" businesses with a unique blend of vision, energy and perseverance; companies that have experienced a strong start with the potential for growing into a prosperous enterprise in the future. Southfield/Lathrup Village companies that have been in business less than (10) years are eligible to receive this award.
  
  
• Outstanding Chamber Business Award 
  Candidates for this award have consistently demonstrated some or all the following: dedication, integrity and commitment to the overall success of the community and chamber, through employee development and consistent superior leadership direction. Only Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce members in good standing are eligible to receive this award.
  
  
• Commitment to Community 
  Candidates for this award have consistently demonstrated that they are operating in ways that enhance the workforce, the work place, the environment and beyond; and that effects social change with their business beliefs, practices and profits. Only Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce members in good standing are eligible to receive this award.
  
  
• Volunteer of the Year 
  Candidates for this award are individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in volunteer service to the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce, with enthusiasm and dedication Only Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce members in good standing are eligible to receive this award.
